Marie Miller

Marie Miller is the Director of Marketing and Social for Grand Lake Host, with over 20 years of experience.  She also runs her own consultancy, The Marketing Junkie (which is also a Member of Grand Lake Host).

Prior to Grand Lake Host, Marie worked for 8 and a half years for another local design agency as a Social Media Marketing specialist.  Before this, she was a Sales Professional at Moorehead Communications in Bluffton, Indiana and a Production Coordinator for CorpCom Group Inc.  Preceding these roles, Marie was an Advertising Consultant for the Evening Leader and an Administrative Assistant for Ferguson Advertising.

From 1997 to 2004, for over 6 and a half years, Marie served as Production Coordinator and other roles at LaBov & Beyond, a marketing and advertising design agency in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she is from.

Marie holds an Associate’s Degree in Commercial and Advertising Art from Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), and certifications in Leading with Emotional Intelligence from the Project Management Institute and LinkedIn from Lynda.com.

For Volunteer work, Marie is the Immediate Past President and the Ohio District Internet Communications Director of the Optimist Club of Van Wert with Optimist International for nearly 4 years running.  She also serves as the President of the Rockford Ohio Chamber of Commerce.

Marie is married to William Miller, who also serves as a Google Ads Certified Business Manager for their consultancy, and together they live in Rockford, Ohio.
