Xander Davis (www.xanderdavis.studio) is the Founder, CEO, and Client Lead at Grand Lake Host LLC. He was born in Coldwater and raised in both Mendon and Celina, Ohio. At age 17 in Celina, he began his first web-design and hosting business before graduating high school, the same business that has today evolved into GLH over nearly 20 years. During his senior year of high school through a scholarship, he was simultaneously a fulltime freshman in college and graduated the following year at Wright State University Lake Campus with an Associate’s Degree in Technical Studies in Graphic Design & Business Administration. He worked for 8 years as an award-winning Creative Director of multiple design agencies across Muncie, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis and a Fortune 500 company’s marketing department at Sweetwater Sound, where he also had his original music mastered at their world-class recording studio. Xander then became a prominent User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Designer for the triple-A video games industry at several major game studios, living in San Diego, Atlanta, Austin, and Las Vegas, shipping multiple titles, before returning to Celina to freelance worldwide. During that time, he created his own video game studio, Astrogun (www.astrogun.com), and video game, VAST, available now on macOS, iOS, and tvOS and coming soon to Steam (Win/Mac). Now, while focusing primarily on Grand Lake Host in the local area with 17 years of professional experience, Xander has also returned to Wright State University Lake Campus to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. Xander is a multiple businesses owner and serial entrepreneur, and lives in Celina with his wife Elizabeth Davis, who remotely works as a manager for Apple Inc., and their son Grantham Davis, while expecting their second child / boy due in January 2020.
